In a year where we have spent so much time indoors, it’s great to be able to leave the house and enjoy nature.
Whether you are popping out to walk the dog or making the most of the Aussie summer with a beach getaway, you should feel confident about the safety of your home, belongings, and garage.
Merlin’s Wireless Security Keypad will give you confidence to enjoy your time outdoors, even if you forget your keys. Complete with Merlin Security+2.0 technology, the Wireless Security Keypad allows you to have keyless access to your home through a simple four-digit PIN.
Here are a few ways the Merlin Wireless Security Keypad can make life a little easier!
Forgot your keys?
Whether you’ve left your keys in the car, or they’re lost at the bottom of your bag, there is no need to worry about how you’re going to get inside. Simply enter your four-digit PIN into the Wireless Security Keypad for easy access to your home. By installing the keypad outside your garage or near your front door, you can improve both the accessibility and security of your garage.
Going away and need a friend to house-sit?
When you’re enjoying that trip up (or down) the coast this summer, ensure your friends can water the plants and walk the dog by setting up a temporary access PIN for the Wireless Security Keypad.
The Merlin Wireless Security Keypad lets you program a temporary PIN. On holiday for three days? Set the temporary PIN for 72 hours so your friend will have access to your garage while you’re away. Temporary PINs can be programmed for up to 255 operations, so whether you’re away for days or months, you can be confident your garage is secure.
Tradie’s coming while you’re not home?
Merlin understands you may not want to give your PIN to everyone who needs to enter your home, but occasionally a tradie will need to enter for a job while you’re away or have popped to the shops. Provide them access by setting up another temporary PIN.
Your Merlin Wireless Security Keypad can help give you control over your home and garage this summer and gives secure access to your home for family and visitors. It’s easy to install and you don’t even need an electrician, just follow the steps below:
1. Select a location to mount the keypad outside your garage and out of the reach of children
2. Mark the top mounting hole, drill a hole there and install the top screw
3. Position the keypad over the top screw
4. Mark the bottom hole, drill another hole and install the bottom screw
